மயக்கந்தரும் பானம். (W.) Spirituous liquor; intoxicant;

(in cant) spirituous liquors, anything intoxicating. உப்பு நல்ல வஸ்து, salt is a good thing. பராபரவஸ்து, God, the Supreme Being. ஏகவஸ்து, the one Being, God. வஸ்து லக்ஷணம், -லட்சணம், the propperties of the Supreme Being which are five as per Agamas, viz. சத்து, reality; சித்து, spirit; ஆனந்தம், bliss; 4. நித்தியம், eternity; and பரிபூர்ணம் all pervading.
