Dictionary Meaning of புறத்திணை

வெட்சி, வஞ்சி, காஞ்சி. உழிஞை, தும்பை. வாகை, பாடாண் என எழுவகையாகவும் (தொல்.) இவற்றுடன் கரந்தையும் நொச்சியும் சேர ஒன்பது வகையாகவும் (பன்னிருபடலம்) இவ்வொன்பதுடன் பொதுவியல்.கைக்கிளை. பெருந்திணை மூன்றுஞ்சேரப்பன்னிருவகையாகவும் (பு. வெ.) பிரித்துக் கூறப்படும் Theme describing conduct as regards war, state-affairs etc., opp. to aka-t-tiṇai, of seven kinds, viz., veṭci, vaci, kāci, uḻiai, tumpai, vākai, pāṭāṇ according to Tolkāppiyam or of nine
