Twelvedays' fast, consisting of three days of middaymeal, three subsequent days of eating whatevercomes to hand, next three days of eatingat night and last three days of total -- 2697 -- abstinence from food; மூன்று நாள் உச்சிப்போதிலுண்டு,மூன்று நாள் கிடைத்ததையுண்டு, மூன்று நாள் இரவிலுண்டு, மூன்று நாள் ஒன்றும் உண்ணாதே நோற்கும்விரதவகை.
