Dictionary Meaning of தேவதத்தன்

தசவாயுக்களுள் கொட்டாவியை உண்டுபண்ணும் வாயு. (பிங்.) 2. The vital air of the body which produces yawning, one of taca-vāyu, q. v. ;
யாதானுமொருவனைக் குறிக்குஞ் சொல். தேவதத்தன் தானாகப் போகலானென்றால் (யாப், வி. 3, பக். 37). 1. A word used to denote an imaginary person;

s. the younger brother of Buddha; 2. one of the 1 vital airs, that which is exhaled in yawning.

[tēvatattaṉ] ''s.'' The younger brother of Bud'dha, புத்தன்றம்பி. 2. One of the ten vital airs, that which is exhaled in yawning, தசவாயுவிலொன்று. 3. The air ne cessary for removing weariness and pro ducing perspirtion. (See வாய்வு.) --''Note.'' In வேதாந்தசூடாமணி it is given as that which produces smiling and speaking.
