III. v. t. trim a burning lamp; 2. stir up, excite, instigate, எழுப்பு; 3. spur a horse, goad an ox, முடுக்கு; 4. remind, suggest, நினைப்பூட்டு. தூண்டாவிளக்கு, a lamp not needing to be snuffed. தூண்டிக்காட்ட, to upbraid, to show one his faults, to reprove. தூண்டிக்கொடுக்க, to remind one of something, 2. to expose a crime to one's notice; 3. to slander 4. to enable a man to get at the point in a dispute. தூண்டிப்பிடிக்க, to magnify little faults. தூண்டிவிட, to trim a lamp; 2. to incite, to entice; 3. to remind one. தூண்டுகுச்சி, -கோல், a pricker for a torch or a lamp. தூண்டு, தூண்டுதல், தூண்டல், v. n. exciting, rousing.
