Nyāya of the two brothers Sunda and Upasunda, who killed each other owing to their jealous love of the celestial maid Tilōttamai, used to denote mutual destruction; சுந்தன் உபசுந்த னென்ற சகோதரரிருவரும் திலோத்தமையை விரும்பி அவள்பொருட்டுப் போரிட்டு மாய்ந்தாற்போல ஒன்றனை யொன்று கெடுக்கும் நெறி. அவை தம்முள் ஒன்றா னொன்று அடிக்கப்பட்டுச் சுந்தோபசுந்தநியாயமாய்க் கெட்டொழியும் (சி. போ. பா. பக். 17, சுவாமி.)
