III. v. t. disperse, scatter, squander, இறை; v. i. be poured out, be scattered, கலை; 2. wander, ramble about, go astray, திரிந்தலை; 3. (fig.) be fruitless or unprofitable, பயன் படாது போ, பணத்தை வீணாய்ச் சிதறடித்தான், he squandered the money. புத்தியைச் சிதறவிடாதே, don't let your mind be bewildered. பதறாத காரியம் சிதறாது, a thing done without haste will never fail. சேனை சிதறியது, the army was dispersed. சிதறித் தூவ, --இறைக்க, to scatter loosely; to strew. சிதறிப்போட, சிதறடிக்க, to disperse, scatter, dissipate. சிதறுமணி, grains that fall scattered while threshing.
