சொல்லணி வகை. (தண்டி. 92, உரை.) A mode of constructing verse in which words or combinations of words apparently similar in sound but different in meaning, are repeated at the end of each line;
''s. [in rhetoric.]'' Con tinued recurrence of the same words at the end of each line through a stanza, but with different meanings, சொல்லணி யிலொன்று. See மடக்கு.
